Agencia ProCórdoba SEM has participated during 2006 in the following JETRO organized training activities:

 

JAPAN TRAINING AND ADVICE FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF FOOD PRODUCT CONTAINERS FOR EXPORTS.

 

The Buenos Aires JETRO office continuing with its "Support Program for the Improvement of the Food Industry in South America" whose objectives are training and advising on new conditions, requirements and tendencies of food product packaging, diffusing alternative technology, and helping towards new business developments with Japan.

 

In a new stage a visit to Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay was carried out in the month of June, 2006. This training and advice mission in charge of the Engineer Mr. Hirotaka Sasaki came with the purpose of delivering courses and offering an intensive workshop in Buenos Aires for companies from these three countries.

Agencia ProCórdoba SEM participated in the course "NEW TENDENCIES IN FOOD PACKAGING IN JAPAN" given out in Buenos Aires, June 9, 2006. The co-organizers were the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Argentinean Institute of the Container and the Pro-Argentina Program in the Sub-secretary for the Small and Medium Company and Regional Development.

The Agency also participated in the Intensive Workshop "TECHNICAL TRAINING IN FOOD CONTAINERS FOR COMPANIES WITH EXPORTS POTENTIALITY". It was held from June 12 to June 14, and it was co-organized by the Argentina MERCOSUR "pro-tempore" Secretary. The addressees were managers, specialists, officials and members of technical and commercial promotion organisms. In the workshop the conditions and the technical, functional and design requirements for exporting packed food products to Japan were analyzed and evaluated.
