ProCórdoba Welcomes Three New Cordobese Export Groups

Minister of Industry, Trade and Mining Eduardo Accastello, together with ProCórdoba Agency's President Jorge Marcotegui, concluded agreements for the establishment of three new export groups: Alfa Campo, Óleo Córdoba Valley and Sensaciones Queseras. This initiative is part of the Export Groups Program activities.

Alfa Campo: It comprises six producers of alfalfa round bales, square bales and mega-bales, as well as other alfalfa products, from Marull, Sacanta, La Para, Villa Concepción del Tío, and Calchín.

Oleo Córdoba Valley: It comprises five olive oil and table olive producers from the Cruz del Eje Department.

Sensaciones Queseras (Cheese Sensations): It comprises five cheese producers that stand out for their product's quality and nutritional properties, from Villa María, Arroyo Algodón, Huanchilla, Calchín, and Ucacha.

The agreements' term is of two years. As established by the Program, each group is to name a coordinator with experience in foreign trade. The coordinator's professional fees are to be covered by the group's members and ProCórdoba.

Minister Accastello took the floor to express,

"We are working hard and have many things ahead of us to take on the challenge presented by Governor Schiaretti regarding the 2030 New Productive Matrix for our Province. We are working closely with the National Government in all production matters."

"I would like to thank entrepreneurs for their effort and drive," continued the Minister, and he added, "Let me take this opportunity to inform that we have decided to offer a training instance for SMEs seeking to export. It will be given through the Catholic University of Córdoba, the National University of Córdoba and the Technological University of Córdoba. The idea is to have tutoring exporting firms and bring them together with what science, technology and education have to offer."

The Export Groups Program was implemented 10 years ago by ProCórdoba Agency. It fosters the creation of partnerships as a tool to enhance the competitiveness of SMEs and producers seeking to engage in foreign trade.

The goal is to form groups of SMEs providing products and services that complement one another as opposed to being competitors, and prepare an attractive offer, in order to minimize costs and boost the export experience.

The groups qualify for general benefits offered by ProCórdoba for local companies in the Province.

Present at the launching event were Secretary of Industry Fernando Sibilla, ProCórdoba Directors Ricardo Pardinas and Mario Von Muhlinen, ProCórdoba's Export Groups Program Coordinator Darío Ciscar.
