The Governor of the Province, Juan Schiaretti, has issued a decree regulating the law on the Regime for the Promotion of the Knowledge Economy of the Province of Córdoba.

The regulation establishes that the enforcement authority for the law will be the Ministry of Science and Technology, through its Secretariat of New Technologies and the Knowledge Economy.

It states that "the tax stability provided for in this Law shall be understood as applicable exclusively to taxes whose taxable event is intended to tax the promoted activities of the taxpayer." Likewise, the exemptions from real estate, gross income and stamp taxes will apply exclusively to the promoted activities and for the period established in the text approved by the Provincial Legislature last December.

It is also established that the companies must be in compliance with all tax regulations in the Province at the time of requesting their registration in the Registry of Beneficiaries of the Regime for the Promotion of the Knowledge Economy of Córdoba, which will allow them to access the benefits set forth in the aforementioned law.

Finally, it is established that the Secretariat of New Technologies and the Knowledge Economy, as enforcement authority, together with the Ministry for the Promotion of Employment and the Family Economy, will approve the terms & conditions that shall apply to the Program, defining the quotas, the amount of the allocations, and procedures that will ensure MSMEs are considered a priority.

It should be noted that companies will be able to apply for registration on the E-Citizen platform, through a 100% online procedure, in an agile, secure and accessible manner, from any device. This system will be available soon.
