
DoingLabs is launching its third announcement in which it will prioritize technology-based ventures until 31 May.
"Those innovative projects that seek to overcome weaknesses and to enhance strengths may apply to the incubation program of six months that offers DoingLabs," indicates the official statement of the announcement.
The initiative began in May 2013, as part of the Program Know to Undertake of that university. Today, a total of 13 startups already performed part of the first and second generation, and they were related initiatives with online services, cloud platforms, mobile applications and online management software (SaaS).
The firm DoingLabs is the incubator of startups of Blas Pascal University (UBP), created from discovering the need and opportunity of deepening supporting actions to those who already have a venture underway. Currently, it counts on a network of mentors who are recognized entrepreneurs and the adhesion of dozens of organizations linked to the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Argentina.
What does it offer?
The program consists of six months of incubation in the coworking space located in the city of Córdoba (Lima 363) and coaching and training to each team member, which it seeks to model and refine the business plan and develop the plan digital marketing. In the component of individual coaching and mentoring to each startup, it is assigned a consultant, who along with the team will develop an initial diagnosis, a working plan and an assessment of progress.
Entrepreneurs applying to the program will also count on workshops and meetings with recognized mentors of the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Argentina; access to support from the Center for Applied Research and Development IT (Ciadeit) of UBP; assistance in accessing public funding for R&D; networking and contact with angel investors and venture capital.
Requirements
Beyond its innovative character, the enterprise must have a clear business model and it is important the scalability with international projection. In addition, it should be carried out by a team of two or more people and it will be prioritized projects underway with no more than two years.
During the month of June, it will be preselected the projects which will pass the assessment process with international evaluators, and then they will have personal interviews with assessors of the local panel and the team of the incubator. Once concluded, between 8 and 10 startups will be selected to accomplish the incubation process from July to December 2014.
