Between June 8 and June 9, eighty-six (86) Argentinean companies in the agricultural machinery sector met with the twelve (12) international operators coming from Bolivia, Chile, Hungary, Mexico, Peru, Poland and Russia.  

The President of ProCórdoba, Atty. Mr. Gerardo Juárez, expressed his pride and gratefulness for the level reached during the meetings. "For us, it is very important that managers from so distant countries as Hungary, Poland and Russia are present here. This demonstrates that the quality in the Argentinean machinery is recognized everywhere around the world. I also want to thank the operators from neighboring countries since their presence favors the invigoration of a Latin American market gaining growth and expansion", Mr. Juárez said. 

On the other hand, the foreign operators recognized that the search for technology and quality in agricultural implements was the main reason for their decision to participate in these Business Round. In this sense, Mr. Miguel Tarrasa Hevia, representative of the Bolivian company Agroinco, said: "We care for machinery mainly from Argentina for its technology. Bolivia is a country in development and we need quality products that offer us  work certainty". 90 percent of the agricultural equipment imported by Agroinco is Argentinean. 

Then, the operator from Hungary, Mr. Pal Farkas, assured that during the Rounds he could advance in serious negotiations with two Argentinean companies for the purchase of croppers and grain storage equipment. Mr. Farkas was representing the company Seed-Imex Co that has had a strong presence in the Eastern Europe markets and has been selling its machinery in the countries that integrated the former Soviet Union. 

Besides, during the Business Round the visit was received of an official delegation from the region of Krasnodar, Russia. Mr. Ivan Imgrunt, Administrative at the municipality from the Belorechensk Region; Dr. Anastasiadi Constantin, a representative of the bank Krayinvestbank; and Mr. Nickolay Okhrimento, manager in the sector of agricultural machinery; they arrived to AgroActiva with the objective of beginning a commercial relationship with Cordoba managers, since they said the region they represented possesses social-political-economic characteristics similar to those in Córdoba. 

The results obtained in these business rounds are the reflection of the effort carried out during three months of intensive work. Agencia ProCórdoba SEM wants to continue opening doors in the external market for our managers thus contributing with its own grain of sand in the construction of an exports culture and a sustained exports flow along time.
