Plano Rede Federal: ProCórdoba será o organismo executor na província

On November 7th, in the morning, a Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Argentina Agency for International Investment and Trade (AAICI), the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Mining and the Ministry of Investment and Financing. Through this agreement, the province of Córdoba is joined to the Federal Network of Agencies and Investment and International Trade Organizations. This agreement will remain in force during three years and will be renewed automatically till maturity.

The agreement has central goals such as promoting and setting up local and foreign companies in the province and articulating the necessary actions to promote the development of the export profile of companies from Córdoba, mainly SMEs. To do this, ProCórdoba Agency will play a key role as an executing agency.

Both agencies are committed to working in the organization of meetings, promoting the visit of investors to Córdoba, organizing seminars and making invitations to experts in topics related to the attraction of investments and international trade. Besides, they will agree on the participation of local companies in missions and/or foreign fairs.

The Federal Network intends to establish channels, processes and interaction formats between country-province and province-province and to collaborate for the creation of agencies and areas of investment and international trade in the whole country.

At the launch, the Coordinator of the Federal Network and Director of Facilitation of AAICI, Fernando Premoli, said “the idea is to develop a project that can last over time and empower the provinces,” and he claimed that the project foresees the creation of at least ten action plans for the next six months.

After signing the agreement, the authorities of the organizations involved met at the premises of ProCórdoba Agency to work with topics related to strategic coordination. In the afternoon, representatives of the Business Chambers of Córdoba were present in order to show the scopes of the agreement and the new support mechanism offered by the new AAICI.
