Business Opportunities in Italy for Cordobese Firms

ProCórdoba Agency, in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Mining, the Secretariat for Investment and the Italian Consulate in Córdoba, participated in the "Italy in Córdoba" program organized by the Embassy of Italy to Argentina.

The event started with a meeting at the House of Córdoba in Buenos Aires between companies from the different productive sectors of the Province and the representative of the Agency for Promotion Abroad and the Internationalization of Italian Companies, Luigi D'Aprea. Also present at the meeting were Minister Roberto Avalle, ProCórdoba's General Manager Roberto Rossotto, Consul General of Italy in Córdoba Tiberio Schmilin, Embassy of Italy Head of Trade Francesco Capecchi, and House of Córdoba Director Carlos Illari.

The productive sectors and exporters of the Province of Córdoba were presented at the meeting in order to increase business contacts and opportunities between both regions, and to show the value of the Province and its territory.

The activities continued at the Embassy of Italy, where Ambassador Giuseppe Manzo welcomed Secretary for Communications and Connectivity Manuel Calvo, Minister Avalle, ProCórdoba Agency authorities, General Manager Roberto Rossotto and Director Daniel Urcia, as well as Cordobese firms. ProCórdoba Agency and the Italian Trade Agency signed a Protocol of Understanding aimed at promotion economic, trade and business cooperation, as well as missions to and from Italy and Córdoba in key areas such as the mechanical, energies, agro-industrial and high technology sectors.

At the close of the meeting, Minister Avalle expressed that "the relationship between Córdoba and Italy is strong, not only due to the bonds of blood between the Cordobese and their Italian parents and grandparents, but because we share an entrepreneurial vision, a culture of work and a mind for constant improvement."

Secretary for Communications and Connectivity Manuel Calvo, for his part, showed his gratitude on behalf of Governor Juan Schiaretti "for the constant support given by the Government of Italy to our Province with each step we take together."
